One
fateful day in the fall of 1999, Fernando Huerto was walking around his high
school at lunch break when he ran into Dominic Sherman and Jonas Babauta.
Dominic and Jonas had heard that Fernando made kung fu movies, so they asked
him if they can be in them. Fernando said yes, and quickly became good
friends with them. Jabronie Pictures was established in the Spring of 2000
when the three of them made their first action short film together. Over the
years, Fernando has recruited many diverse actors from his college classes,
from the internet, and the plays he performed in. Since
then, this San Diego based group has made over 100 short films.
