Joe actually resides in New Jersey, but he's still part of the group. Joe and Jay met on the internet in 2003. At first, they were fans of each other's films. Later, Jay asked him questions about some of his videos. Having never met in person, they communicated primarily through instant messaging. Two years later, they spoke directly on the phone nearly on a daily basis. A close friendship formed and in 2006 Joe had a crazy idea of putting Jay in his next movie, Wish, using the power of digital video and the internet. In November of 2006, Joey was scheduled by his work to go to Arizona and Jay invited him to come over to San Diego. Joe agreed and bought an additional plane ticket and the rest is history.
